This amulet allows the wearer to speak in the voice of another person or creature for one day if a fresh drop of their blood is applied to the surface. This could happen by accident, in battle or otherwise.
Every time the amulet is used, there is a 5% cumulative chance the wearer's voice is permanently stolen. If not, they suffer a difficult sore throat for a period of 1d6 hours after the magic fades.
Originally created by the vain sorcerer Kaspoor, who would pick just the right voice from among his slaves and prisoners to match his mood each day. Later used to great effect by the assassin Golod.
